If you already own a launch monitor or are looking at purchasing one, then you probably want to get the most out of it. Tangent is here to help. Now you can easily perform Tangent Drills hands free with your favorite simulator or launch monitor software and import the data directly into your Tangent app. This article will walk you through it.

Currently supported software:

Don't see your preferred software? Shoot an example csv export from your preferred software to dallas@tangent.golf and we'll get it added.

Step by Step instructions:
1) Fire up the drill you would like to do in Tangent and make sure to turn 'Launch Monitor' on.
2) Select the software you'll be using to collect the data.

3) Once level and the rest of the drill is set up to your preference. Start the drill.

4) In your simulator / launch monitor environment, you'll hit the required number of shots at the target distance listed in the Tangent app for the drill and level you have selected.

5) Hit 'next' after each shot in the Tangent app and change the club if necessary for the new target distance.

6) Once you have hit the required number of shots, you will be given the 'Import CSV' option.

7) Export the CSV from your simulator software and download on your phone. This will 'save' it to your files folder. There are several ways to download it to your phone depending on the platform for your sim software. If your sim software is on an Apple device, you can use AirDrop option to pass it to your phone. If it is a Windows device, you can email the CSV file to yourself and download it from your email on your phone. However you do it, get the CSV on your phone.

8) Hit the Import CSV button and select the file containing your drill data from the sim software.

Just like that, your data should be imported, processed and saved so that you can view your results in the Drill Summary.
