We all want to play better golf, but we don't all have the time to pour into dramatic swing changes to look like Adam Scott. Luckily, we can unlock the potential of our current swing by minimizing these 4 statistics:
Three putts
Two chips - taking more than one shot to get on the green from inside 50 yards.
Penalties
Recoveries - any shot where we cannot properly advance to the green (trees, plugged lie, etc).
The items above are scorecard killers and are typically the result of poor target selection or poor execution. Make sure to work on fundamentals around the green.

Putting does not take immense physical skill, but it does take practice. Work on speed control and green reading to eliminate costly three putts.

With short game we sometimes get bogged down in feeling like we need to knock everything tight. Thats not necessarily true. The number one goal is to always get on the green and give yourself a putt. Find a technique that allows you to reliably get on the green whenever you are nearby and eliminate the deadly two chips.
Penalties and recoveries will happen. Some of these will be caused by ball striking. A bad swing at the wrong time and you are swimming with the fishes... but many of these are completely avoidable with good target and club selection. Those are the ones we want to get rid of with the Tangent 4. Be aware of how many times you are putting yourself in real trouble and work to minimize those.
In order to help you attack these areas, we have added the Tangent 4 to Round Summaries and advanced analytics.
With a simple graphic, we show your potential score if you avoid the Tangent 4. It can be pretty eye opening. Imagine if I told you that you could be 10 shots better by just avoiding the Tangent 4!
