What are the different user roles?

Creators, Admins, and Sidekicks

Creator role

Creators are users that create Tangos!

  • Can use Guide Me an unlimited amount of times

  • Can create Nuggets*

  • Can create, export, duplicate, and move workflows

  • Can change folder permissions for folders they can access

  • Can change workflow privacy settings on Workflows they have edit access to

  • Can blur sensitive data while capturing

  • Can use the desktop app

Admin role

In addition to everything a Creator can do, an Admin can also:

  • Can invite or remove Workspace members

  • Can change permission settings for all workflows and folders

  • Can change billing information

  • Can manage branding

  • Can manage Security options, including SSO/SCIM *

  • Can see Workspace Insights*

  • Can manage user groups*

*Only available on an Enterprise plan

Sidekick role

The Sidekick role is for your end user.

  • Can use Guide Me an unlimited amount of times

  • View and engage with Nuggets

  • Has ability to view and comment on Tangos that are Shared with Workspace

Sidekicks cannot create, export, duplicate, move, or manage Workflows.

If you would like to add Sidekicks to your Enterprise plan, you can book time with our Commercial team.

Sidekick roles are only available on Tango Enterprise plans and must be manually activated by the Tango team.

Guest role

Guests can be invited to view specific workflows. Guests can be added to view any number of workflows, and can try out Guide Me 3 times in any Workspace.

They do not have access to the Workspace and cannot create, edit, or duplicate or any workflows in the Workspace. They cannot view Nuggets.
