The Follow-Up Campaign feature in BayEngage helps improve email engagement by allowing users to resend campaign emails to recipients who did not open, click, or engage with the initial email. This feature increases the chances of conversion by targeting non-responders with minimal effort.

Steps to Create a Follow-Up Campaign

Login to BayEngage

  • Access your BayEngage dashboard using your credentials.

Navigate to the Email Campaign Section

  • Click on Campaign > Email Campaign > Email Campaign.

Create a New Email Campaign

  • Enter a Campaign Name.

  • Add Recipients.

  • Set the Subject.

  • Select the Email Template.

  • Configure UTM Parameters if needed.

Enable Follow-Up Campaign

  • Scroll to the bottom of the campaign creation page.

  • Toggle the Follow-Up Campaign option to enable it.

Configure Follow-Up Campaign Settings

  • Subject: Enter the subject line for the follow-up email.

  • Send Follow-Up To: Choose the target segment from the dropdown:

    • Not Opened

    • Not Clicked

    • Opened but Not Clicked

  • Send After: Specify the delay in days or hours after the initial email.

    • For days: Minimum of 2 days, maximum of 15 days.

    • For hours: Minimum of 48 hours, maximum of 360 hours.

Schedule the Campaign

  • Once follow-up options are configured, schedule the email campaign.

  • The confirmation banner will now include the follow-up campaign details.

Manage Follow-Up Campaigns

  • After scheduling in the campaign listing, the primary campaign will have the option to edit or delete the follow-up campaign.

  • Click Edit to modify the follow-up campaign settings via a pop-up.

  • Click Delete to remove the follow-up campaign if needed.

  • The Edit/Delete options are also available in the campaign overview page.

  • Once the primary campaign is sent, the follow-up campaign will be automatically created, scheduled, and available on the campaign listing page.
