Overview:
BayEngage has a massive library of 300+ professionally designed email templates. These templates are carefully crafted by our team of in-house experts.
The email templates are categorized based on type, season, and industry.
You can also use the search option to find the template that you want.
How To Get Started With Templates on BayEngage?
Login to your BayEngage account and head over to the “Email templates” option on the left side of the screen.
Scroll through a massive collection of templates in the library and pick your favorite or search for a specific template, or filter out based on “Type”, “Seasons”, and “Industry”
Begin by editing a template. When you hover over a template, you can see two options - “Choose this template” and “Preview”.
By selecting “Choose this template”, you will be able to land directly on the editor mode where you can start customizing your template.
By selecting “Preview”, you can have a complete look at the template and decide whether or not you want to continue with the template.
Note: Preview gives you both desktop and mobile preview.
Once you click on “Choose this template”, you will be taken to the editor section where you can start customizing your template
You have a ton of options to customize your template:
Content: This section allows you to edit the content of the template and includes
Columns
Button
Divider
Heading
HTML
Image
Menu
Social
Text
Video
Simply drag and drop any of these elements and begin editing in the workspace.
2. Blocks: Drag and drop blocks for recommended products, Header, and Cart.
3. Body: You can customize every element of the body of the email which includes:
Text color
Background color
Content width
Content alignment
Font family
Pre header texts
Links
4. Images: Find millions of stock images in the “Images” tab and simply drag and drop to use them in your email template.
Product Widget
Drag and drop the “Product” widget to a particular section of your email template where you want to display the products.
The product feed will pull product information from your eCommerce integration (store) and display this information on your email template.
This feature can be used in flow or campaign emails via the drag-and-drop product block.
Note: You have to connect your store to be able to view and work with the product widget.
Drag and drop the Product block where you needed it
Click on the dropped block. The settings will open on the right side
Click the Add Products button. A Modal window will open with all the products pulled from your store
You can search for a product by Product Title, SKU and Product ID to add.
What’s next?
Once you are done with all the customizations, you can rename the template. You can also:
Send a test email: You can send a test email and check if everything looks fine
Download the HTML of the template: Simply click on the “Download” button to download your template
Save & Return to templates: By saving a template, you will be taken to the “My templates” tab where you can access the template with all the changes saved anytime you want. You can also edit, preview, duplicate, delete, send a test email, and rename the template
Create a campaign: You can create a regular campaign once the template is ready
Edit Template
All the saved templates will be under the My templates tab.
From the Email Templates tab locate the template you want to Duplicate or Delete.
Preview the actual template with Desktop and Mobile Menu.
Send a test email, you can send a template to 5 emails with comma-separated.
Note: Merge tags will not work.
Edit template header options
Rename the template.
Send a test email.
Download the HTML of the template.
Save and retire to the Email template Main page.
Create a campaign, Option to create a regular campaign once the template was ready.
Product Widget
Product feed will pull product information from your eCommerce integration and display this information in an email template. This feature can be used in flow or campaign emails via the drag-and-drop product block.
Note: This too will be available once the store was integrated.
Select Products
Drag and drop the Product block where you needed it.
