Overview:

The pricing plan of BayEngage is pretty simple and straightforward.

The pricing is calculated based on the number of subscribers and there’s a limit to the number of emails you can send based on that count.

Adding the app to your Shopify account

Standard pricing is 10 USD per month for every 1,000 subscribers when the number of subscribers is under 50,000.

From 50,001 to 75,000 subscribers, it's $8 for every 1,000 subscribers.

From 75,001 to 999,000 subscribers, it's $6 for every 1,000 subscribers.

Above 999,000 total subscribers, it's $3 for every 1000 subscribers.

But for 250 subscribers or less, it is completely free.

For example, if your subscriber count is between 251 and 1,000 emails, the price is 10 USD per month. It would increase to 20 USD per month when you crossed 2,000 subscribers and so on.

If you'd like to simply enter in your subscriber count and see your price, try the pricing calculator on our website.

Pricing FAQs:

Is there a free plan?

BayEngage is free for up to 250 subscribers and you can send up to 2500 emails.

Removing the BayEngage branding from the footer is only available for paid users, but you can choose to upgrade early.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, there is a 14-day free trial.

How am I billed?

All charges are submitted and paid through Shopify and will appear on your Shopify bill. There are no extra contracts, vendors, or payment schedules to worry about.

What is a subscriber?

A subscriber is a person that has agreed to receive promotional emails. Within Shopify, this is represented as a customer record with the "Customer accepts email marketing" checkbox selected and manually imported subscribers.

When does my bill increase?

As BayEngage is a monthly subscription, a charge is submitted every 30 days to Shopify based on the number of subscribers that you have. Once you cross the threshold to the next 1,000 subscribers, you will have 14 days to approve a new charge amount or your account will be frozen. Each time you approve a new charge, your bill will be increased to the standard rate based on your email subscribers and your subscriber limit will be increased by 1,000 contacts.

Can I cancel at any time?

Of course. You will not receive a prorated refund, but you can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app. After uninstalling there might be one remaining charge on your Shopify bill, but there would not be any further charges after that.
