How To Create Segments Based On Email Opened / Clicked?

Overview:

Segmentation is a great way to personalize your emails, improve engagement, and increase the overall conversions. Plan your email flows and messaging better with the email opens and clicks segmentation.

By segmenting your email opens and clicks you will get a fair idea of the following:

Email open metric indicates:

  • If the subject line has resonated with the audience

  • The email deliverability health of your campaign

  • If your message was intriguing enough

Email click metric indicates:

  • The email copy was engaging

  • There’s value in your email

  • It drives interest for the next steps

How To Segment by Email Opened / Clicked On BayEngage

  1. Login to BayEngage and head over to “Lists & Segments”

  2. To segment based on email opens and clicks, click on “Create Lists & Segments” and choose “Segment”.

3. Next, click on the “Include people based” drop down and choose “Email opened” or “Email clicked” based on your requirement.

4. Click on “Save & continue”.

Note: You can use the “AND” and “OR” operators to create multiple segments.
