Overview:

Embedded forms that are well-designed and appropriately embedded on your website can help you build a strong subscriber base. BayEngage forms allow you to automatically generate HTML code to embed straight into your website. Embedded forms in BayEngage don’t come with any CSS styling. Design your online form and grow your subscriber's list.

How To Create an Embedded Form?

  1. Log into the ‘BayEngage app from TargetBay’ by entering the correct credentials.

2. Navigate to the option “Signup Forms” on the menu to your left. Click on the option “Create New” on the top right-hand side of the screen, if you have already created some other popup/form. (or)

3. Select the option “Embed” under the heading “Types”.

4. Select the type of embedded form template that you like to use.

5. Give your embedded form a nice name and choose the list that you want the subscribers to be added to and click “Create”.

6. In the editor space, you can further customize the form (edit the content, images, design, and more). Design your embedded form and the thank you message.

7. Once you are done with the design, you can move on to the “Target Rules” that enables you to customize:

  • Who can see your pop-up

  • How long would you like to show your embed

  • You can use the option “Subscription Form” to change the list where you want your subscribers to be added to

8. Once you are done setting the rules, you can move on to the “Auto Responder” to set the email workflow for your embedded form.

9. Clicking on the ‘Auto responder’ will take you to the workflow screen where you can set the actions that you want to perform. All you have to do is simply Drag and Drop the actions you would like to add. Actions have two elements: Email and Delay which are completely editable.

Recommended: Click here to know more on how to set up an email workflow.

10. Once you are satisfied with the email workflow, you can enable the email automation by clicking on the toggle button near ‘Automation status’ to set it “active”.

11. Click on the option “Set Live” to activate the embedded form.

How to Embed the Embedded From on your Website?

On the second step (“Target Rules”) of creating the embedded form, you will find the embed code. Copy the embed code (using the copy icon) and add it to the page on your site where you want your embed form to appear. Voila! You are all set to grow.
