I. Whitelisted Hours

What are Whitelisted hours?

If your audience has opted in to receive your messages but has a regular work schedule or other obligations, you'd want to be sure that your messages aren't getting in their way. That's where Whitelisted hours come in!

Whitelisted hours are the times of the day during which you can send messages to people who have opted in for your SMS marketing campaign. Whitelisted hours allow you to specify a time range that would be reasonable for your messages to be delivered. They're beneficial if you're running a campaign that requires a high volume of messages, like promotions or deals.

How to set Whitelisted hours in BayEngage?

1. To set up Whitelisted hours, log in to your BayEngage account.

2. Go to "SMS" in the left-hand side menu and click "SMS Settings."

3. You set Whitelist hours by scrolling down in the "SMS Setting" tab and then click "Save."

II. Delivery Control

What is Delivery Control?

Delivery control allows you to control the speed and frequency of your messages. This can be useful if you have a specific time frame during which you want your message to be sent or if you have a specific time frame in which you don't want your message to be sent.

This means that your messages will be delivered at a comfortable pace for your recipients and sent when they're most likely to get read.

Why is it important?

Delivery control helps you avoid spamming your customers with unwanted messages, which can lead to them unsubscribing from your list or blocking future communications. It also enables you to ensure that when someone needs instructions for an event or product, they get them right away—and don't have to wait for hours or days for a response.

How do you set Delivery control on BayEngage?

1. To set up Delivery control, log in to your BayEngage account.

2. Go to "SMS" in the left-hand side menu and click "SMS Settings."

3. You set the Delivery threshold period by scrolling down in the "SMS Setting" tab and then click "Save."

III. Deliver-on

What is Deliver-on?

Deliver-on is a feature that allows you to set the exact date and time that your message will be delivered. This means you can ensure your message will be sent at the best time—whether in the morning or evening, on the weekend, or during work hours.

For example, if you want to send an SMS/email on Sunday at 12 pm, you can use Deliver-on a specific time feature. This feature is helpful to ensure that your subscribers receive the message at the right time.

How do you set Delivery-on on BayEngage?

1. To set up Delivery-on, log in to your BayEngage account. Click "Automation" from the left-hand side menu, and click "Create automation."

2. To set up an automation, you will see a pop-up window. Name it, say you can select the "Checkout abandonment recovery" recipe from the drop-down menu, and click "Create."

3. You'll be prompted to complete the Checkout abandonment recovery workflow.

4. You can choose "Delivery on" by clicking the Time delay. That is how soon the SMS/email should be sent, from a few hours, days to weeks. You can also specify the time and time zone for the SMS/email to be delivered and click "Save."

This is how you can enable the Deliver-on a specific time feature on automation workflows with BayEngage.
