Overview:

Order fulfillment delay notification automation is used to notify/inform your clients that there will be a delay in their expected delivery date.

For example: You can set-up the Order fulfillment delay automation to notify your customers when they place an order and there is a delay in the delivery of the product.

How to set-up order fulfillment delay notification automation in BayEngage?

1. Login to BayEngage and select the "Automations" option from the left-hand side menu.

2. Click on “Create automation”

3. Now you will land on “choose an automation” page, there you can select “Order fulfillment delay notification” in the pre-built recipes.

4. Give an appropriate name for your automation.

5. The trigger is “ When a user places an order”, below that you can mention your required time delay (any no.of days) Ex: 3 days mentioned in the below image.

6. Then you can use the Activity split to mention the status of the user order fulfillment. If the order is delivered, it will exit or if the order is not delivered, you can send an apology email for the delay in shipment.

7. Edit the template to your liking and also include your branding to add a touch of authenticity to the email.

8. When you are done editing, turn on the email node using the on/off toggle to make it active. And that’s it. Your customers will now be notified when their order is delayed.
