  1. Say you want to create a segment for frequent purchasers. You can use a combination of the following fields:

Segment: Placed order

Frequency: More than 2 times

Period: Within 6 months

2. To create a segment to filter out shoppers who have placed an order from the last 5 Campaigns sent in the last 6 months, you can use the following segment filters:

Segment: Placed order

Period: 6 months

Frequent: at least once

Campaign filter: Last 5 Campaigns

3. Below is an example of how you can create a segment to win back audiences.

For Example -

If you wish to reach out to shoppers who have historically placed an order with you (say between March 5, 2020, and March 5, 2021). But have not placed an order for the past 1 year (2022). You can use the following segment :

Segment: Not Placed order

Period: Past 1 Year

Frequent: at least once

AND

Segment: Placed order

Period: Between From and To Date

Frequent: at least once

4. Now if you wish to send a special offer to shoppers who have opened your email campaign in the last 3 last AND belong to the city of New York OR California, you can use the following segment -

Segment: City

Condition: Is

City: NYC

OR

Segment: City

Condition: Is

City: California

AND

Segment: Campaign Activity

Filter: Email Opened

Frequency: At least once

Period: Last 3 Days

5. In order to send a special discount just to shoppers who have placed an order in the past 6 months AND are celebrating their Birthdays this month. The segment will look like -

Segment: Birthday

Period: This month

AND

Segment: Placed an order

Frequency: At least once

Period: In the last 6 months
