  • The "Not entered the flow” segmentation involves customers who have not entered into an automation flow based on the user split condition. This flow restricts the users to who enters the flow for the second time with the time frame provided on the condition. It is always a best practice to keep a cool off period before qualifying customers to a recurring automation.

  • To achieve the above case, we have introduced the "Not entered the flow" filter as a part of the user filter in automation, so that we can qualify a customer to receive the email only if they have "not entered the flow" in the last "x" time

Note:

This filter is not applicable for the user joins and user joins segment automations

Configure Not entered the flow in BayEngage:

This segmentation can be set up in Automations.

Step 1: In the BayEngage, click the “Automations” option from the left hand side menu.

Step 2: Create Automation: BayEngage-> Automations-> Create Automation -> Choose an automation that suits your needs.

Step 3: Click the “USER FILTER” option.

Step 4: In the “Include people based on” drop down section, under the option “User Activity”, click the “Not entered the flow” option.

Step 5: You can also filter the customer who has placed an order in the last 6 months, this month, last month or in the last certain hours.

Step 6 : Click the “Update” to set up the “Not entered the flow” filter.
