How to configure the product recommendation through the filter (static)?

Step 1: Enter the correct credentials and log in to the BayEngage app

(To access BayEngage’s app store, https://app.bayengage.com/login/)

Step 2: Go to the “BayEngage” dashboard and click on the “Email Templates” option from the left-hand side menu.

Step 3: Choose a template by clicking the option "Choose this template." The email template will open up in the template editor.

Step 4: Drag and drop the “Columns” widget into the email template.

Step 5: Now, drag and drop the “Products(NEW)” widget into the column.

Step 6: Next, click on the widget within the template and choose the "Add/Edit Products" option on the right-hand side.

Note💡:

The default is "Grid View" with one column. Choose up to three columns and modify the layout for widget flexibility in design and presentation.

Step 7: This action triggers the 'Choose Products' window on the screen.

Step 8: In the "Choose Products" popup, use the dropdown (Most Viewed, Most Added, Recently Added) to search products.

  • You can search for products by name

  • You can add a product by selecting the "Add Product" option.

Step 9: The chosen products will be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen. Rearrange them with the "Click & Drag" arrow, and kindly click the "Add to Template" option on the top right to add them to the product widget.

Note💡:

The viewed/purchased count is displayed when the recommendation type is set to most viewed or most purchased)

How to edit the selected product details in the product widget?

Step 1: Click the "Edit" icon next to the product name in the "Selected Products" window to edit the product details.

Step 2: Update the required information in the "Update The Product Details" menu. Click "Continue" to save the changes.
