Unlock powerful targeting with BayEngage's direct Facebook Ads integration. Seamlessly sync your BayEngage lists and segments to create laser-focused Lookalike Audiences for your ad campaigns. Additionally, our integration supports real-time sync, enabling automatically adding or removing customer data from the audience whenever the segment/list is updated within BayEngage.

NotešŸ’”:
You must have an active Facebook Ad account for seamless integration.

Benefits of Integration:

  • Synchronize "List/Segment" from BayEngage to the "Custom Audience" list to reach the right audience.

  • Improve your ad performance with targeted audiences.

  • Target look-a-like audiences based on your BayEngage lists/segments data.

  • Improve ad targeting and ROI by using first-party audience data.

Setting Up Facebook Ads with BayEngage:

Step 1: Log into the BayEngage app store and enter credentials to access your account.

(To access BayEngageā€™s app, https://app.bayengage.com/login/)

Step 2: Navigate to the "Apps" section located on the left side of the dashboard.

Step 3: Under the ā€œExplore Appsā€ section, look for "Facebook Ads" and click Install.

Step 4: After clicking "Install," you will be redirected to Facebook, where you should login to your Facebook Ads account to connect with BayEngage.

Step 5: Follow the Facebook steps to approve the integration, ensuring all permissions are granted for BayEngage to access their ads account via API.

NotešŸ’”:
Make sure all permissions are set to "YES" for the integration to work properly.

Step 6: The token for that account is generated, and you can click the ā€œComplete Integrationā€ option to redirect back to BayEngage.

Step 7: Select the appropriate ads account to sync custom audiences. Click "Add Account" from the drop-down option in the "Custom Audiences Settings."

NotešŸ’”:
Once you select an ad account, it cannot be changed later. Make sure the correct ad account is chosen before proceeding.

Additional Information:

  • When you connect a Facebook account initially, you'll need to accept the "Terms of Service" specific to the chosen ad account's "Business Portfolio."

  • Clicking the "Terms of Service" link redirects you to Facebook for acceptance within the relevant business context.

NotešŸ’”:
We need to accept the terms of service in the context of the ā€œBusiness Portfolioā€ of the ad account that we need to connect.

The Example Scenario:

Imagine you have a Facebook Ads Manager account and want to use BayEngage to create a targeted ad campaign. You have an ad account named "Targetbay Meta Ads" within a business account called "TargetBay."

When connecting "Targetbay Meta Ads" to BayEngage for the first time, you'll see "Terms of Service" as shown in the above example.

Clicking it redirects you to Facebook to accept the terms. However, there's a catch! Ensure the terms are accepted under the correct "Business Portfolio." In this case, you must switch the context (top right corner) to "TargetBay" and accept the terms.

Once accepted on Facebook, go back to BayEngage. Now, when you choose "Targetbay Meta Ads," you can proceed with syncing your BayEngage list/segment with a custom audience in Facebook Ads (existing or new).

Important Note:

  • Select the ad account that has a Business Portfolio attached to it, only ad accounts that have a business portfolio will be eligible to connect and create ā€œcustom audienceā€ sync.

  • If the Intended ad account is not mapped to a ā€œbusiness portfolioā€. Follow the links below to set it up.

Step 8: Once the account is selected, you will be redirected to the screen where you can sync your BayEngage list and segments with a Facebook custom audience.

Step 9: Choose a BayEngage ā€œlist/segmentā€ from the first dropdown menu, then choose a ā€œFacebook custom audience.ā€ You can select pre-defined or enter the new custom list from the dropdown menu, then click "Save" in the top right corner.

NotešŸ’”:

  • Businesses can create multiple BayEngage custom audiences and match them to one Facebook audience.

  • Facebook may take up to 24 hours to update custom audiences.

  • Synchronize a segment or list that has at least 1,000 audiences.
