Overview

Folder Permissions let you customize your team's access and offer straightforward way to control who can view and edit projects within a team (folder).

Set Permissions (Desktop)

Every time you create a new team in a shared workspace, you can define the level of access for other workspace members. Here's how to do that:

  • Create a new team inside a workspace.

  • Set the team logo, name, and color theme.

  • Use the dropdown list to define access level.

πŸ”€ Description

Invite only

Only the people you invite will be able to see and edit projects inside the folder.

Everyone can edit

All members of the parent workspace will be able to edit projects inside the folder. This setting doesn't affect existing permissions.

Everyone can check

All members of the parent workspace will be able to check tasks in nested projects. This setting downgrades Editors to Checker role.

Everyone can view

All members of the parent workspace will be able to view projects inside the folder. This setting downgrades Editors to Viewer role.


Change Permissions (Desktop)

  • Click the arrow β–½ next to the name of your team.
    ​

  • Select Edit from the drop-down list.

  • Choose the access level.


Set Permissions (iOS & Android)

  • Create a new team inside a workspace.
    ​

  • Set the team name and color theme.
    ​

  • Under Team Access, use the dropdown list to define access level.


Change Permissions (iOS & Android)

  • Open a team and tap the three dots button (Β·Β·Β·) in the top-right corner.
    ​

  • Tap the Edit button ✏️ Edit and choose a settings from the drop-down menu.
