Overview
Taskade AI Agents are smart assistants that streamline routine activities like research, task management, and content creation. You can create a team of AI agents, each with a unique personality, skills, and knowledge.

Create a Custom Agent
Tap the β Create New button (bottom-right) β AI Agent.
Choose one of the available options:
β(1) Name your agent β‘ tap Create to start from scratch.
β(2) Choose a template β‘ tap Create.
β(optional) Choose the workspace (3) where you want to create the agent.

Customize your agent (see the next section).
Customize Your Agent
Go to the π€ Agents tab in your workspace/team.
βTap the three dots Β·Β·Β· next to the agent you want to edit.
βChoose Edit agent from the drop-down list.
Use the tabs to edit your agent:
β(1) Knowledge: Fine-tune the agent using documents and other resources.
β(2) Tools: Give the agent access to powerful tools and platforms.
β(3) Commands: Define custom commands for different projects and tasks.
Add/Edit Agent Commands
Each agent can include multiple custom/commands. Think of them as "levers" that allow you to interact with the agent, and the agent to interact with the world.
To create or edit existing commands:
Go to the π€ Agents tab in your workspace/folder (see Customize Your Agent).β
βTap the three dots Β·Β·Β· next to the agent you want to edit.
βChoose Edit agent from the drop-down list.
βGo to the Commands tab (3) β browse the custom commands.
(1) Tap Add Command to create a new agent command.
β(2) Tap any of the commands to edit it.
β(1) π€ Name: This will pop up when you type / + "command name".
β(2) β© Prompt: Define the behavior of the custom command.
β(3) π¦ Mode: Decide how the agent should approach tasks.
βπ’ Default: Agent operates based on your prompt without setting goals.
βπ΅ Plan & Execute: Agent sets structured goals based on your prompt.
Tap Save (top-right corner) to update/add a command.
Set Agent Tone
You can change the tone of your AI agents to match how you like to communicate.
Go to the π€ Agents tab in your workspace/folder (see Customize Your Agent).β
βTap the three dots Β·Β·Β· next to the agent you want to edit.
βChoose Edit agent from the drop-down list.
βTap the pencil button next to your agent's avatar.
Tap Tone and select one of the available tones.
Tap Save (top-right corner) to confirm the changes.
Add Agent Knowledge
You can use your files & documents or external resources to train your agents.

Go to the π€ Agents tab in your workspace/folder (see Customize Your Agent).β
βTap the three dots Β·Β·Β· next to the agent you want to edit.
βChoose Edit agent from the drop-down list.
βGo to the Knowledge tab (1).

Toggle the Enable knowledge slider on.
βChoose one of the available options to add agent knowledge:
βUpload File: Upload files & documents from your device.
βAdd from media: Choose from previously uploaded documents.
βAdd Link: Add knowledge from a URL.
βAdd YouTube: Choose a YouTube video (the agent will use a transcript).
π‘ Note: Agent knowledge can combine many different sources.
Edit, Copy, or Delete an Agent
Go to the π€ Agents tab in your workspace/team.
βTap the three dots Β·Β·Β· next to the agent you want to edit.
βChoose one of the available option from the drop-down list.
Choose a Language for AI Responses
AI responds in the language of the prompt. Here's how to control the output:
(method 1) Choose the language in the General tab.

Go to the Agents tab in your workspace.
βTap Β·Β·Β· β Edit Agent.
βTap the pencil icon next to your agent's avatar.
Tap Tone and select one of the available tones.
(method 2): Specify the language in the prompt.
βe.g. "Respond in Spanish: What's the weather like in Madrid?"
β
(method 3): Provide context in the target language.
βe.g. "ΒΏCΓ³mo estΓ‘ el clima en Madrid?" will receive a response in Spanish.
Use AI Agents
There are two ways you can use your custom AI agents:
(method 1): Chat with the agent:
βGo to the π€ Agents tab in your workspace/team.
βTap your custom AI agent.
βStart a conversation and ask your agent questions.
π‘ Note: Tap the / button in the agent chat to call custom agent commands.
(method 2): Use custom agent commands:
βOpen a project in the workspace/folder where you created the agent.
βSelect a task and tap the robot icon π€ in the main toolbar.
βYou can also type / + name of a command.

Choose a command from the pop-up menu.
Add and Enable Agent Tools
Agent Tools are integrated add-ons that augment the capabilities of your custom AI agents. They allow agents to interact with Taskade projects and 3rd party apps.

To add a tool to your agent:
Go to the AI Agents tab in your workspace/team.
βTap Β·Β·Β· next to your agent β Edit agent.
Go to the Tools menu. Here, you can do several things:
β+ Add Tool: Add new tools to your AI agent.
βManage: Enable/disable tools or modify their settings.
To add a tool, tap β Add Tool β choose a tool(s) from the list.
βOnce you're done adding tools, tap Save.
To manage agent tools, tap a tool under Manage:
βEnable/Disable the tool using the toggle at the top.
βSet approval the tool to Manual/Automatic mode.
βConnect your tool accounts.
βRemove tools from the agent.
