In Taskbird, you can create repeating tasks. This can save you time if you need the same task to be completed every Monday, for example, or every specific day of the month or year. This way you don't have to keep creating the same task over and over again π
As you create a new task, check the option to "repeat" the task, like in the image below:
By default, the task will be repeated daily, but you can tap on the "Daily" drop down menu to see the other options available: repeat daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.
If you choose to repeat a task Daily, you need to select the frequency for this task to be repeated. Enter the number of days between each new task. If you enter "every 1 day", the task will be repeated every day, if you enter "every 2 days", it will be repeated every other day, and so on.
If you choose to repeat a task Weekly, you need to choose which days of the week this task will be created for, and whether this should happen every week, or every 2 weeks, and so on - similarly to the "daily" setting.
If you repeat a task Monthly, you can choose to repeat the task on each specific day of the month (for example: every day 10, or every day 15, and so on), or on a day of each week (for example: on the second Tuesday of every month).
Repeating a task Yearly will require you to pick on which months the task will be repeated, as well as on what week and day of these months it will be assigned.
Note: For every frequency you choose for the task to repeat (daily, weekly, monthly and yearly), you will need to enter a valid date for the repeat to end. If you'd like this task to be repeated indefinitely, you can pick a date in the far future.
