The Booking Site is Taskbird's free empowering tool for service businesses, as it allows you to simplify communication and scheduling with current and potential clients. Through this feature, any person who visits your page and interacts with the Booking Site can schedule an appointment, streamlining the entire booking process. Once an appointment is made, it seamlessly syncs with your Taskbird calendar, instantly transforming into a task that can be efficiently assigned to your team members.

Your booking site
Setting up your booking site in Taskbird is simple to do - just follow the steps shown in the article below. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes - depends on how much information you wish to set up! π
Due to its complexity, the Booking Site is currently available only on the web version of Taskbird, which you can access at:
Business Category
First things first, you need to enter your business category. You can choose one by clicking over that field and the options will show up, or type a new category if it's not on the list.

Business Information
Next, you will provide your business information in each field: name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. Potential customers will see this information on your Booking Site page once it is live.
Currently, the address option is only available in the USA.
Hours of Operation
Once you click next, you will be prompted to select your hours of operation to share with your customers. If you have additional hours of service, you can tap the "+" symbol and enter them there. You can also edit the working hours at any other time if you want to.
Setting Up Types of Services
You can choose what type of services you provide, if they are not on the list you can type and insert a new one. For example, "Residential Cleaning" and "Vacation Rental Cleaning" are already on the list, but "Walk the dog" is not, so we manually inserted it.
And the first steps to setting up your booking site are done! Now, let's move on by tapping the "Let's do it!" button.
Services Section
Easily customize and offer your desired services for customer booking. Set service options, prices, and times. You can mark them as active or inactive, tap to edit, or tap the trash can icon to delete them.
Tap the service you want to edit, and you will be taken to this screen:
You will need to provide a service name, the base duration of your service, and the base price as well. The description is optional, but it's good to provide an idea of what your business provides.
You can choose if you want the duration and price to be shown or not, and also the place - if it's at the customers' location or at your business location.
Service Options
Clients can customize the services with this option. You can set the choices (single, multiple, or quantity), additional prices, and times that each option adds. You can also add more options by clicking "Add another Option. You can add as many as you want. The option to display the price is optional.
Questions for Customers
You can create questions for your customers to answer when booking a service, so you can gather all the information you need to execute it. Questions can require mandatory or optional answers, and you can also pick the type of answer: text input, or option selection.
Booking Preferences
Here, you will define when a service can be booked. You can choose the booking timeslot format, pick between "exact time" or "time window", and also set the intervals. In the last section, you can choose the minimum time an appointment can be booked for before it starts.
A draft will be saved and you can preview it by clicking the "preview" button. You can also choose to publish it or work on it some more.
Business Details
You will be shown the same information you entered on the second screen at the beginning of this tutorial, but now you can add your Social Networks! Just place the URL on the fields below; if you have more than two, you can tap "+Add another Social Network" and insert the others. An icon will be shown on your Booking Site redirecting the customer to the social network provided when they click it.
Scheduling
Set your business hours and define how your services will be booked. Refer to this section.
Customization
In this section, you can edit the appearance of your Booking Site to match your own website! You can upload your logo and customize the colors to your preference. The primary color edits the color of the "Cleaning Company" section, and the header color edits the color of your header.
Installation
After all these steps, you are almost ready to go! On this part, you can copy the link to your booking site and share it with your customers, or embed the code onto an existing web page by adding the code shown.
