Sending invites for client returns

Sending invites for client returns means inviting clients to upload their tax information. When you send clients invites for tax information, they receive an email with instructions to upload their tax information on the taxbotic platform. If this is the first time they are receiving an invite from you, they will be required to sign-up by setting up a password.

How to send client invites?

On the client returns listing page, choose the "invite" option from the dropdown by clicking on the three dots (...) at the end of the client listing you are looking to invite.

In the "Tax Return Invite" pop-up, select the returns that you would like to invite.

Note - The primary client will always be invited. You can note that the primary client in the image above has the checkbox blurred. This is because you cannot change this.

Once selected, click on "Send Invite". Your client will receive email notification of your request for information with instructions on how to proceed.

Uninviting client returns

Uninviting client returns means cancelling client invites to upload their tax information. Note that client invites can only be uninvited if the client has not already signed up and started working on the return request. If the client has already started working on the invite, the option to uninvite the client return will be disabled. If you are able to uninvite a client return, we will add back the return balance to your account.

How to uninvite clients' invites?

On the client returns listing page, choose the "Uninvite" option from the dropdown by clicking on the three dots (...) at the end of the client listing you are looking to uninvite.

In the uninvite pop-up, select the returns that you would like to uninvite. Once selected, click"Un-invite". The client will no longer be able to view this return on their client portal.

In the above snip, you can see one of the returns checkboxes is blurred. This is because this return is no longer able to be uninvited.

Reminders

If a client return is invited but the client has not responded, you can send them a reminder.

To do so, on the client returns listing page, choose the "Remind" option from the dropdown by clicking on the three dots (...) at the end of the client listing you are looking to send a reminder. Confirm that you want to send a reminder and a reminder will be sent to the client.

If you have sent multiple reminders to a client, Taxbotic will note the last date you sent a reminder.

You can send as many reminders as needed.
