Taxfyle stores all of your information within SOC2 compliant (same controls required by banks) databases with controls over all documents to ensure no third parties can access them. In addition, our app has an automatic log-out precaution in case outside parties get a hold of your phone.

To further enhance the security of your Taxfyle account, we offer Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) as an additional layer of protection. This feature adds an extra step to the login process, requiring users to provide two or more pieces of evidence to verify their identity.

You can opt into MFA by accessing the menu in the Taxfyle app and selecting the "Enroll in multi-factor authentication" button. By enabling Multi-factor Authentication, you add an extra layer of security to your Taxfyle account, reducing the risk of unauthorized access even if your username and password are compromised.
