Important information

  • A valid email address is always required so that the passenger can receive a ride confirmation with payment link!

  • The journey schedule has no restrictions on reservation times, so when booking private, business or shared transport, the importer must take into account the applicable minimum reservation times.

  • When booking an airport ride, the importer must always select an airport from the "Airport" tab.

  • This is because the price tables are linked to these specific airport profiles

  • The difference in the journey schedule between an "estimated price" and a "fixed price" is that the first is an estimate which is booked "by meter", the second is the set price as it is booked. It is important that every ride is booked with a "fixed price".

Enter Ride:

  1. If you want to create a new ride, click on the "new ride" button. Now the ride input screen opens.

  2. Fill in the name and address of the customer, it is important that the correct email address of the customer is always entered.

  3. Under the heading "Departure" and "Arrival" at the bottom of the screen, enter the desired pick-up and drop-off locations.

    • Do not forget to mention the flight number

    • You can easily enter addresses via the "Address" and "Search" tab

    • ALWAYS use the "Airport" tab to select an airport address

  4. The trip agenda has 3 options to specify the customer's pick-up time:

    • Pickup time:

      • What time does the customer want to be picked up.

    • Desired arrival time at the airport

      • What time does the customer want to be dropped off at the airport?

        • With this option, the "arrival" field in the address options is set directly on the "Airport" tab.

      • Flight schedule time

        • What time does the flight land at airport when picking up from airport

          • With this option, the "departure" field in the address options is set directly on the "Airport" tab.

      • The trip agenda does not take into account the chosen options in combination with the products to choose (private, business, shared). So keep in mind that not all options for all products are available in your service.

  5. Now choose the number of people and product type

    • Please note that the ride agenda does not have any dependencies between the number of people and the products to be chosen (private, business, shared), it is especially important here that the correct number of people is indicated. At a later stage, the dependence between the number of people, the number of luggage and the products to be selected becomes clear

  6. We will discuss the feature below in the penultimate step, because first the extra data must be entered to arrive at a correct price.

    mceclip1.png
  7. Now enter all the necessary additional information such as type / number of luggage, cancellation service etc.

    • Make sure you always choose a selection with the luggage option

    • Note that certain fields have an influence on the price, for example checking the cancellation service will increase the price.

  8. Now that all the necessary information has been entered, the most important part of the ride is input, the final price calculation and payment method:

    • Always choose the option: payment link for payment method.

    • This option means that the passenger will receive a payment link in his confirmation email with which he can pay for the ride online

    • As long as the ride has not yet been paid for by the customer, the ride is listed in the ride calendar under "still to be paid" and it is not a ride that is transferred to the external carrier.

    • The payment link automatically expires for the customer if the minimum reservation time for the chosen product has expired

    • Note that if adjustments are made to the ride now, the price will no longer change as it is now fixed. If you have changed things, you can press the calculator icon again for a new calculation

    • If you have opted for a return booking, you can book the outward journey in the current page and via the button 'Book ride and go to return' you will reach the page for the return journey.

    • Ride price calculation is set to "based on taximeter ", this means that the ride does not yet have a fixed price, however, this will be converted to a" fixed price "in the last step in this field

    • If the trip is booked for a debtor (travel agency), you can link the correct debtor via "Debtors". The trip is then booked under this debtor.

    • Please note, the ride may have to be booked as "on account", then switch the payment method to "on account"

  9. Now that all data has been entered, the system knows exactly which products are available based on this information. For example, a chosen product 'private taxi' can no longer be booked if it is for 1 person with 10 pieces of hold luggage. To make the right choice click on the next calculator icon

    mceclip3.png
    • The products and prices that are available are shown via the calculator icon:

      • Single: select if it concerns a single journey

      • Return: Select if it concerns a return

      • mceclip0.png
    • If, for example, a one-way ticket Private transport is chosen by clicking on the button, a fixed price will be made immediately.

  10. The last step is to book the ride, there are 2 options

    • Save and Close

      • The trip is saved and automatically offered to the affiliated carriers / planning packages or the trip becomes available for the central to be issued

    • Save and new ride

      • Follow the exact same process as indicated above, but you will immediately be given the option to create a new ride
