Request a Refund on Your School

Learn how to use Teachable's 30-day refund guarantee should you be unsatisfied with your school plan purchase.

Note: If you are a student looking for a refund for a course purchase, please refer to our Knowledge Base article on student refund requests.

Teachable's Refund Policy

We want every user to be satisfied with their experience using our platform, which is why we offer a 30-day refund policy for school plan purchases. Teachable's instructor refund policy is outlined in more detail in Teachable's Terms of Use.

Eligibility

Refunds are available within 30 days of signing up for a new paid plan or upgrading to a higher-tier plan. This applies to both monthly and annual Teachable subscriptions. Refunds are also available for charges incurred during trial periods if you decide not to continue with Teachable, as well as for unexpected charges during free trials. Additionally, refunds for admin add-ons require the removal of additional admin users from your school before processing.

Refund requests must be made in writing within the 30-day window. Teachable reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of abuse, such as repeated refund requests across multiple schools or consecutive months. Refunds for admin add-ons are contingent upon the removal of additional admin users from the school. Refunds cannot be issued for charges that fall outside the 30-day refund window. For trial extensions, refunds are still subject to the 30-day policy unless documented evidence of the extension exists.

Before You Request a Refund

Before you request a refund, please cancel your school plan from your Settings > Billing page. If you are requesting a refund for admin add-ons, ensure that all additional admin users have been removed from your school before submitting the request.
