Actually this is possible but in the premium version, where you will be able put scale 1 to each assignments, and the gradebook will automatically calculate the weight for you.

For Premium use, you can configure the 3 kinds of weight calculation (Percent, Scale and Point-Based)
For Free use, you can configure the weight only with Percent.
