Setting Employee Non-Teaching Wages

Employee wages for non-teaching work such as preparation, administrative work or any other type of work that your teachers perform can be set using one of two methods:

Method 1 - Use Work List Wage

You can set the work wage for non-teaching events at an hourly rate using the wage set in your Work List. You can do this by following the steps below:

  1. Click on "Employees" and then click on "Employee List".

  2. Click on the "Edit" button to edit a teacher's profile.

  3. Scroll down to the "Employment Details" section.

  4. Set the "Non-Teaching Wage Type" field to "Use Work List Wage".

  5. Submit the form to save your changes.

Method 2 - Employee Profile

You can set their work wage at an hourly rate specified directly on their profile. You can do this by following the steps below:

  1. Click on "Employees" and then click on "Employee List".

  2. Click on the "Edit" button to edit a teacher's profile.

  3. Scroll down to the "Employment Details" section.

  4. Set the "Non-Teaching Wage Type" field to "Set Wage on Profile".

  5. Set the hourly wage you'd like to pay the teacher in the "Non-Teaching Hourly Wage" field.

  6. Submit the form to save your changes.
