If you pay your teachers non-hourly compensation such as salaries, bonuses, referral fees or reimbursements for expenses, you can record this compensation in Teachworks.
Adding Non-Hourly Compensation
You can follow the steps to add non-hourly compensation records for your employees below:
Click on "Employees" and then click on "Employee Hours".
Click on the "View" icon next to the employee who you will be adding the compensation for.
On the "Hours & Payments" page, scroll down to the "Other Compensation" section.
Click on the "Add" link next to the section header.
Complete the forms with the details.
Click on "Submit" to create the non-hourly compensation.
Once the form has been submitted, you'll be directed back to the employee's "Hours & Payments" table, where you will see the compensation record in the "Other Compensation" section.
If it doesn't appear, you will have to use the date filter at the top of the page to include the date of the compensation.
Accidentally Overpaid a Teacher?
If you have accidentally overpaid a teacher and you would like to balance the total, you can record a negative value non-hourly compensation to make the adjustment.
