Resending Welcome Emails
The Welcome Email introduces the user to the platform and provides initial setup information. If a new user did not receive the Welcome Email, you can resend it by following the steps outlined below.
Student/Family
Click on "Students" and then click on "Students" or "Families".
Click on the "Edit" button next to the student who you would like to resend the Welcome Email to.
Scroll down to the "Welcome Notifications" section.
Check the "Send Welcome Email" checkbox.
Submit the form to resend the Welcome Email.
Employee
Click on "Employees" and then click on "Employee List".
Click on the "Edit" button next to the employee who you would like to resend the Welcome Email to.
Scroll down to the "Welcome Notifications" section.
Check the "Send Welcome Email" checkbox.
Submit the form to resend the Welcome Email.
Resending Account Confirmation Emails
The Account Confirmation Email contains an activation link that allows the user to set their password and access their account. This email is not sent automatically and requires manual intervention to enable the user’s account.
Student/Family
Click on "Students" and then click on "Students" or "Families".
Click on the "Edit" button next to the student who you would like to resend the Confirmation Email to.
Scroll down to the "User Account" section.
Check the "Resend User Confirmation Email" checkbox.
Submit the form to resend the Confirmation Email.
Employee
Click on "Employees" and then click on "Employee List".
Click on the "Edit" button next to the employee who you would like to resend the Confirmation Email to.
Scroll down to the "User Account" section.
Check the "Resend User Confirmation Email" checkbox.
Submit the form to resend the Confirmation Email.
NOTE: Confirmation links will expire after 5 days from the original sent date. The date and time stamp on the "Confirmation Sent" field will only be updated to a new date and time after the 5 day period.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting Tips
Email Not Received: Ensure the user checks their spam or junk folder. If the email is still not found, verify that the email address on the user’s profile is correct.
Activation Link Expired: Resend the Welcome Email or re-enable the account to generate a new activation link.
User Confusion About Emails: Clarify that the Welcome Email and account confirmation email are separate, and the latter requires manual account enabling.
