Custom Lesson Emails Add-on

This add-on is currently limited access and will be made available for companies that request it for their accounts. If you would to use this feature, please send a message to support@teachworks.com.

This add-on allows you to create notification templates that can be used for sending tailored messages to families (and family contacts) and/or students for a particular lesson and allows you to include details about the repeat settings if the lesson is apart of a repeating series.

Enabling The Add-on

  1. Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Integrations & Add-ons".

  2. Use the search field on the right and enter "Customer Lesson Emails".

  3. Click on "Enable" under the add-on's section.

Creating a Custom Lesson Email Template

Once the add-on has been enabled, you can click on the "Manage" option to begin creating custom lesson email templates. You can follow the steps below to create a custom lesson email template for students:

  1. Click on the "Manage Student Templates" or "Manage Family Templates" link.

  2. Click on the "Add Student Template" or "Add Family Template" link.

  3. Add a title for your template in the "Template Title" field.

  4. Enter a subject for the emails in the "Subject" field.

  5. In the "Message" field, personalize the message and include any important information by using the merge tags from the "Merge Tags" list on the right-hand side of the template.

  6. Submit the form to create the custom lesson email template.

Usage

You can send a custom lesson email you've created by following the steps below:

  1. Click on Calendar and then click on "Main Calendar".

  2. Click on a lesson that you would like to send a custom lesson email for.

  3. In the pop-up menu, click on the "Custom Email" option.

  4. In the drop-down menu, select the template that you would like to send for families and/or students.

  5. Click on the "Send Email" button to send the selected custom lesson emails.
