The Lesson Flags Add-On lets teachers flag unusual or irregular lessons for attention from administrative staff.

Enabling the Add-on

  1. Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Integrations & Add-Ons".

  2. In the "Search" field on the right, enter "Lesson Flags".

  3. Click on the "Enable" link.

Settings

Once the add-on has been enabled, you can click on the "Manage" link to customize the settings:

Email Notification - When enabled, an email will be sent to the company email address every time a lesson is flagged.

Usage

The "Complete Lesson" form will now include a checkbox to flag a lesson. When the checkbox is selected, a textbox will expand and teachers can leave a comment about why they are flagging the lesson.

Notifications

If you have enabled the "Email Notifications" setting, an email will be sent to the company email address each time a lesson is flagged and you can view the details in the notification email.

The widget allows you to confirm and hide the flag or go to the lesson to view more details. Once you’ve viewed and confirmed a flag, a timestamp will be saved for your records.

Unconfirming a Lesson

If you've accidentally confirmed a flag, you can set it back to "Flag Unconfirmed" by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the lesson on the calendar and then click on "Complete".

  2. Scroll down to the "Flag Lesson" checkbox

  3. Set the "Flag Confirmed" field to "Flag Unconfirmed".

  4. Submit the form to save your changes.

Doing this will remove the "Confirmed at" timestamp.
