There are two types of students in Teachworks:

Child Students are students that have someone else responsible for their billing. This profile is typically for children whose lessons are paid for by their parents, but it can also be used for companies or schools that pay on behalf of their employees or students. Child students do not have access to billing information when they log into their Teachworks accounts.

Independent Students are students that are responsible for their own billing and pay for their lessons on their own. Independent students have access to billing information when they log into their Teachworks accounts.
