If you're experiencing slow loading times when navigating between pages in your Teachworks account, there could be a few different reasons. Below are some steps that you can follow to identify the cause:
Step 1 - Check the Teachworks Status Pages
The first step is to check one of the following status pages to see if Teachworks is experiencing an issue. This monitoring service accesses Teachworks once every minute from locations around the world.
If there are no issues displayed on the status page, please go to the next step.
Step 2 - Test a Different Browser
The next step is to test a different browser and see if the issue occurs in that browser as well. As an example, if you are experiencing the issue on Google Chrome, try accessing Teachworks using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
If the issue doesn't occur on the second browser, then it's likely a browser specific issue and you should continue to the next step.
Step 2.1 - Clear Your Browser's Cache
You may have a corrupted cookie in your original browser. If this is the case, you can clear your browser's cache. This article has the steps for doing so: Clearing Your Browser's Cache.
If clearing the browser's cache didn't resolve the issue, please go to the next step.
Step 2.2 - Disable Browser Plugins
It's possible that a plugin you've installed on your browser is causing the issue. You can test this by disabling your browser's plugins, restarting the browser and accessing the site again.
If disabling the plugins resolves the issue, you can begin re-enabling the plugins one at a time to find the plugin that was the cause.
If you don't have plugins or disabling the plugins didn't resolve the issue, please go to the next step.
Step 3 - Test a Different Network
The issue could be caused by a problem on the network somewhere between your location and Teachworks' servers.
If your phone has a data plan, you can use a different network by turning off the Wi-Fi on your phone so you are using the phone's data plan instead and access Teachworks on your phone.
If there is no issue on your phone's data plan, the issue is likely network related and you should contact your Internet Provider for further assistance.
