Once the add-on has been enabled, you can click on the "Manage" option to customize the following settings:

  • Title - This setting allows you to give a title for the late charge and will be displayed in the "Service" field on the invoice.

  • Description - This setting allows you to add a description about the late fee that will be displayed in the "Description" field on the invoice.

  • Late Fee Type - This setting allows you to select the type of late fee you'd like to apply. You can select between the following options:

    • Fixed Amount - This allows you to set a fixed amount for the late fee.

    • Percentage - This allows you to set the late fee to a percentage of the invoice's subtotal.

  • Due Date Offset Days - This setting allows you to specify how many days after the invoice's due date that late fee will be applied. For example, setting this field to "1" will apply the late fee 1 day after the invoice's due date.

  • Due Date Offset Hours - This setting allows you to specify how many hours after the amount of days you've set that the late fee will be applied. For example, setting this field to "2" will apply the late fee 2 hours after 12:00am.

  • Taxable Late Fee - This setting allows you to add sales tax to the late fee that is applied.

NOTE: The "Taxable Late Fee" setting is only available if you have enabled the "Sales Tax by Line Item" setting in the Account Settings page.
