Creating a test in Teachy is quick and highly customizable to meet your classroom’s needs.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to building a test that truly measures your students’ learning.

Step 1: Open the Exam tool

Step 2: Enter your Exam details

  • Select the subject: Choose the subject area your test will cover.

  • Define the topic: Use BNCC skills to select the content by name, grade, or code.

  • Grade: Indicate your class’s grade/year.

  • Number of questions and difficulty level: Specify how many questions to include and choose the difficulty level (easy, medium, or hard).

  • Question types: Choose objective (multiple-choice), open-ended, or both.

After setting your preferences, click Create exam. Your test will be generated based on the information provided.

Step 3: Review and customize

  • Review questions: You can edit or delete any question using the menu on the right of each item. You can also switch the question type between Multiple-choice and Open-ended.

  • Adjust point values: Set how many points each question is worth using the selector next to it.

  • Add more questions: Click Add question to search ready-made items, write one from scratch, or generate a new one with AI.

  • Organize: Drag the question numbers on the left to reorder the questions.

Step 4: Finalize and share

When you’re satisfied with the test, you can:

Share

Send to students (enrolled in your class)

Make accessible (accommodations)

Preview as a student (one last check before sending)

Add to a lesson (new or existing)

View the answer key

Add a question to the test
