The Calendar Page

Scout’s Calendar replaces manual scheduling and endless messaging with an intuitive, centralized schedule.

Section 1: Filter Calendar View

Filter Calendar view by month, two weeks, or weekly schedule.

  • Adjusting the Calendar View

    • To filter the Calendar view, for month, 2 week or weekly schedule, you can select the button in the top right.

    • The month view is default, and therefore the button will display as Two Weeks, click here to show the Calendar in a Two-Week view. You can then click to view in a weekly view and again to return to monthly.

Section 2: Event Details

Click into an event to see time, location, kit requirements, and any attachments.

  • Viewing an Event

    • To view a particular day, tap on the date on the calendar

    • This will load events for that day in the daily view beneath the calendar

    • Tap on the relevant event to see event details.

    • Here you will see the Event Title, Description, Start and End date and time, Location and participants as well as any photo, video or documents attached.

    • To open the event location in Naver, simply tap on the map.

  • Creating an Event

    • To create an event, from the Calendar page, click the date you wish to add the event on from the Calendar and click the plus icon in the bottom right.

    • This will load the event creation screen.

    • Attach a cover image, write your title, select the event type (Team, Private or Public) for each there are different event options

      • Team

        • Select the relevant team or group

        • Choose from Conditioning Training, League Game, Other, Practice Game, Social Event or Team Training.

      • Private

        • Select from 1:1 Private Coaching and Other.

      • Public

        • Select from Social or Other.

    • Select the Start and End Time

    • Enter the location – Naver Maps will present suggestions, select the relevant location to attach the Naver Map to the event.

    • Add any relevant attachments, pictures, videos or documents.

    • Type in the event details

    • Tape Create Event

  • Editing and Deleting an Event

    • To edit or delete an event, select the date on the calendar and tap on the relevant event to see the detailed view

    • To edit, click the pencil icon in the top right before making any necessary revisions

    • To delete, click the bin icon in the top right and confirm deletion

Section 3: RSVP Functionality

Mark attendance directly in the app—no more back-and-forth chats about availability.

  • Responding to an Event invite

    • To respond to an event, you will need to access the event details screen.

    • To do this you can, tap the notification, click into the event from the Home page, Team page or the Calendar Page.

    • Once you have tapped into the event, scroll to the participants list.

    • Tap the undecided button next to your name and mark as attending or unable to attend as appropriate.

    • For coaches, you can update any of the participants in the same way- should a parent or player approach you directly with their attendance.

Section 4: Carpooling Feature

Carpooling Feature: Arrange pick-ups and drop-offs for events to simplify team travel logistics.

  • Create a Pickup/Dropoff Schedule

    • To create a pickup or dropoff schedule, locate the relevant event and tap on it to open the detailed view.

    • Tap on the bus icon in the top right-hand corner.

    • Select Pickup or Dropoff (pickup is for before an event and drop-offs are for after the event has finished).

    • Click the plus icon in the bottom right and select add.

    • Tap Add Stop and enter the title, location and pick up time.

    • Click Accept.

    • Repeat as required to add all your pickup points.

  • Deleting a Pickup/Dropoff Schedule

    • To delete, tap into the event, click the bus icon in the top right to view the schedule.

    • Select Pickup or Dropoff schedule

    • Next to the schedule, tap the bin icon

    • Confirm deletion

Conclusion

By using Scout, you eliminate last-minute confusion and give everyone a clear view of the team’s schedule in one place, with real time updates and notifications to ensure you always have the most up to date information. No longer will you have to consolidate information from multiple sources and ensure you have all the up to date info, Scout does this for you.
