How to use Shift Map View to find shifts near you.

Overview: Shift Map View allows you to search for shifts based on geographical area. This guide will demonstrate how to find and use Shift Map View to select the best shift for you.


How to Request a Shift

  1. Open the TeamBridge App

    • Log in to your account and navigate to the Schedule section from the home screen (lower navigation bar).

  2. Access Available Shifts

    • Tap on the Find Shifts button to open the Shift Map View.

  3. Find Shifts

    • Navigate the Shift Map View the same way you navigate any other map on your phone (pinching to control zoom, dragging to pan).

    • A white circle with a black number inside it represents the presence of a qualifying shift in that area. The number indicates the quantity of shift providers that have available shifts within the date range indicated at the top of screen.

    • Tap on a white circle to see the breakdown of opportunities at that location.

    • Tap on a shift to view more details on the shift and to view the Claim Shift button.

  4. Submit Your Request

    • Tap the Claim Shift/Request Shift button to submit your request.

    • If confirmation is required from a manager, you will see a pending status.

  5. Receive Confirmation

    • Once your shift is approved, you will receive a notification.

    • The shift will now appear under your Upcoming Shifts section.


Additional Features:

  • Shift Notifications: Your account may have notifications setup to provide you with updates about available shifts and approvals.

  • Canceling a Request: If you need to withdraw a shift request, go to the Scheduled Shifts section, select the shift, and choose Cancel Request.

  • Viewing Past Requests: You can track past shift requests and their status under the Requested tab.
