Instant Pay lets you access money for hours you've already worked before your regular payday. Cash out your earnings whenever you need them and have the money sent to your bank account or debit card.
You'll find it in the Instant Pay tab at the bottom of the app. (If you don't see the tab, see "Why don't I see Instant Pay?" in the Frequently Asked Questions section below.)
Part 1 - Quick Start
Step 1: Set up Instant Pay (one time)
The first time you open Instant Pay, you'll complete a quick, one-time setup.
On the welcome screen, tap Get Started.
Work through the setup checklist - Terms and Conditions and ID Verification
Review and accept the agreements. Check both consent boxes, then scroll through the Earned Wage Access Agreement and tap I Agree.
Verify your identity. Enter your legal name, email, phone, date of birth, SSN, and address. Some fields may already be filled in and locked — if any locked info is wrong, tap "Wrong information?" to reach your administrator.
Once verification is complete, you're ready to cash out.
Step 2: Add where you want your money sent
Before your first cash out, add a payment destination.
From the Instant Pay home screen, tap Link Account.
Choose Debit Card or Bank Account.
Fill out the secure form and submit.
Your new method may show as Pending if it requires additional verification. This is handled automatically and can take up to 5-7 business days. Once verified, you can set it as your default. (See "Why does my payment method say Pending?" below.)
Step 3: Cash Out
From the Instant Pay home screen:
Tap Cash Out Now on your balance card.
Enter an amount - type it in, or tap a quick amount ($50 / $100 / $150).
Choose where it goes - pick your bank account or debit card.
Choose a speed - Instant or Regular. Your available options depend on your specific payment method.
Review the details. The fee is subtracted from your amount - you'll receive the amount minus any fees.
Slide to transfer. This is a slide gesture - drag the slider all the way across to confirm.
You'll see a confirmation screen with the expected arrival date.
That's it, your money is on its way. 🎉
A note on limits: You can cash out up to the amount shown on the screen. Only a portion of your earnings is available at once, and there are minimum and per-day limits. Tap the info (ⓘ) icon on the Cash Out screen for the details, or see "Your balance & limits" below.
Part 2 - Frequently Asked Questions
💰 Your balance & limits
Why is my available balance $0 when I can see my shift earnings?
Why is my available balance $0 when I can see my shift earnings?
Your Total Pay Period Earnings and your Available to Cash Out amount are two different things. Your earnings show everything you've made, while the available amount is the portion you can cash out right now. It can be $0 for a few reasons:
The shift is from a previous pay period. Available funds reset at the end of each pay period, so earnings from an earlier period won't be available to cash out even though you can still see them.
Your employer's rules make that shift unavailable for Instant Pay. Some shifts may not be eligible based on how your account is set up. This is controlled by your employer, support can't change it, you'll need to talk with your account administrator.
Instant Pay is paused. During system updates you'll see $0 available until service resumes. A banner at the top of the screen will let you know.
Why is my "Available to Cash Out" lower than what I've earned?
Why is my "Available to Cash Out" lower than what I've earned?
Only a portion of your earnings, up to 50%, is available for instant payout. The exact amount also considers things like overtime, scheduled vs. worked time, and other factors. Your full earnings are shown separately as Total Pay Period Earnings.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts I can cash out?
What are the minimum and maximum amounts I can cash out?
There's a minimum per transaction and a maximum per transaction, plus a daily limit. Tap the info (ⓘ) icon next to "Transfer up to" to see your limits.
When do my earnings reset?
When do my earnings reset?
Your available balance resets when your pay period ends. The app shows a reminder with the exact date and time. Note that a shifts pay period is based on when you clock in, not when you clock out.
⏱️ Speed & fees
How fast will I get my money?

It depends on the speed you choose:
Instant - usually within a few minutes (can take up to ~30 minutes and varies by bank)
Regular - up to 3 business days
What are the fees?

Instant transfers have a flat fee; Regular transfers are free. The fee is subtracted from your cash-out amount, and the slider shows the exact amount you'll receive before you confirm.
🏦 Payment methods
How do I add a bank account or debit card?
How do I add a bank account or debit card?
Your first one: tap Link Account on the Instant Pay home screen.
Adding another later: go to the Payment Methods screen (from the menu) or tap Transfer to on the Cash Out screen.
Then choose Debit Card or Bank Account and complete the secure form.
Why does my payment method say "Pending"?
Why does my payment method say "Pending"?
Most payment methods are verified automatically the moment you add them, and are set as your default right away, so you can cash out immediately.
Occasionally a method needs additional verification, which is when you'll see "Pending." This usually takes a couple of business days (up to 7). Once it's verified, it can be set as your default, tap it on the Payment Methods screen, or just select it on the Cash Out screen (under Transfer to), which sets it automatically. If a method fails verification, you'll see it changed to a "Failed" status on the Payment Methods screen, try adding it again or use a different method.
What if my payment method shows "Failed"?
What if my payment method shows "Failed"?
A red "Failed" badge means the method couldn't be verified, so it can't be used for cash outs. Remove it and add it again, or try a different card or bank account. If it keeps failing, contact support.
Can I change where my money is sent?
Can I change where my money is sent?
Yes. On the Cash Out screen, tap the Transfer to row to switch destinations, or manage all your methods (and set a default) from Payment Methods.

Why am I not eligible for Instant Pay?
Why am I not eligible for Instant Pay?
Eligibility can be affected by things like your location, address, or a compliance review. The app will show a reason. If you have questions, contact support or your administrator.
Some of my information is locked and it's incorrect. How do I fix it?
Some of my information is locked and it's incorrect. How do I fix it?
Locked fields come from your employer's records, so they can't be edited in the app. Tapping "Wrong information?" on the ID Verification screen explains this and lets you exit setup, but you'll need to contact your account administrator directly to correct your details. Avoid submitting information you know is wrong, as it may block your access to Instant Pay.
🛟 Troubleshooting

My cash out failed or is stuck on "Pending."
View the transaction from your Transactions list to see its current status (Completed, Pending, or Failed).
How long it takes depends on the speed you chose — Instant transfers usually arrive within a few minutes (up to ~30 minutes and varies by bank), while Regular transfers can take up to 3 business days. If a transfer fails, the amount isn't deducted, try again, and contact support if it keeps happening.

Occasionally Instant Pay is paused for system updates, or payouts may be delayed during maintenance or a banking issue. The message will explain what's happening. Your earnings are safe, try again once service resumes.

In Settings → Safety & Restrictions, you can turn on Self-Restrict Instant Payouts. This hides the cash-out option. Restoring access afterward requires contacting support.

I don't see a "Cash Out" button. Why can't I cash out?
If the Cash Out Now button is missing, you may have turned on Self-Restrict Instant Payouts at some point. This is a safety feature you can enable to block yourself from cashing out, and it stays on until it's removed. It's easy to forget you turned it on. To check, open Settings → Safety & Restrictions. If self-restriction is on and you'd like to cash out again, contact support to have it removed.
