Even though you can do almost anything you can imagine with TeamBridge Data Sources, there are some very useful tools that unlock the next level of business automation and communication for your team. In this section we will cover the three primary tools that can help you automate workflows: Automations, Forms, and Geofences.
Automations
The automation builder is the brain of TeamBridge data. It allows you to create data specific policies, automatically assign responsible parties to tasks, send timely and relevant reminders with personalized content, flag issues in real-time, and even communicate with external parties such as clients, or vendors.
Automation Overview
The anatomy of an automation is very simple. When something happens, do another thing! You can take advantage of conditions to make sure that thing only happens in certain scenarios, for example for certain employees, or roles, or in certain locations.
Automation Example
Once you start thinking in automations your daily operations can be automated! So let's take a look at a simple automation. You want to send you employee's a notification 10 minutes before their shift is scheduled to start. However, in this case you only want to send it to a certain group of employees who's timeliness is key. The automation would sound like this:
When
Shift is Scheduled to Start
If
User/Role = Customer Service
Do
Send an SMS Message
In the Automation Builder found in Setting / Automations you will be able to configure the details of your message and even personalize it to the team member it is being sent to.
Form Builder
TeamBridge is a great place to keep all your data organized in one place, to make it even more powerful, and to help you collect data from the right person at the right time, we created the form builder. The form builder allows you to build target forms that tie directly back to your data. Want to collect a document from specific staff members? Interested in keeping tabs on employee morale and leadership with a pulse survey!? All of that is super simple with the form builder, and when the form is submitted it drops right into TeamBridge like everything else, linked to the correct records so you can easily find in all the relevant places.
Geofences
TeamBridge knows that your team might be on the go and there is no way for you to verify everything they are doing. Geofences provide a great way to validate your teams locations when they are taking specific actions, such as clocking in or out. Geofences are also accessible via your automation builder allowing you to use them as triggers for messages and other actions.
For example: You want to send a message to your team member and the client when your team member gets close to the clients home.
