Sometimes you don't want to spam All users or All Inactive users even when sending out invites. Sending more targeted invites with a custom message is easy in TeamBridge and this article will walk you through the steps to set it up in your account.

You will also learn how to trigger any custom action using custom fields which can help you send out pre-formatted emails, automatically update one or more fields upon a status change and more! So let's get started.

First you'll want to use an existing Single Select column, or create one on the user object. To create a new column follow the steps below:

  1. Open any user profile page

  2. At the bottom of the user data, click add property

3. Give the new property the name "Actions" and select a Single Select type

4. Finally give this field two options "Send Invite" and "Invite Sent"

The next step is to hook those options up with an automation to complete your action

To do so navigate to your automation section and follow these steps:

  1. Create new automation

  2. Select When "Something is Updated" as your trigger

    1. Select Users / Actions

  3. Add a Condition

    1. User / Actions is "Send Invite"

  4. Finally Add actions, most likely a SMS and/or Email with the content you would like to be sent in the invite.

    1. You'll want the Send to to be Automation Workflow / User

    2. You can personalized the message with variables about the user.

You can include these links in your invite

App store download. (iOS and Android) - https://tbridge.link/download

Web Register page Link - https://tbridge.link/start

5. You will also want to add an action to "Modify Something"

a. Select User / Actions and set it to "Invite Sent", this will give you confirmation that the automation ran.

You are all set. Test it out with a few users or yourself!
