How to request shifts from the Teambridge app

This will walk you through how to request unassigned shifts from the Teambridge app.

Prerequisites

  • App has been installed on your mobile device

  • App is logged in using an active Teambridge account

Requesting shifts from the Teambridge app:

  1. Open the Teambridge app

  2. Tap on the calendar icon (located in the lower navigation bar.)

  3. Select the desired date range by tapping the arrows surrounding the displayed month.

    • The right arrow will move 1 week forward

    • The left arrow will move 1 week in the past

    • Scrolling left or right on the actual dates will perform the corresponding actions above

  4. Select Open to filter shift grouping by open shifts. Other grouping options are listed and defined below.
    ​Note: If the desired option is not show scroll left or right to reveal additional options

    • All Shifts - Shows all shifts

    • Upcoming - Shifts that have not started yet

    • Ongoing - Shifts currently in progress

    • Completed - Completed shifts

    • Late

    • No Show

    • Requested.

  5. Tap the desired shift to open.
    ​Note: If you don't see any shifts available, please contact your company's scheduling team to make sure there are shifts available in the selected time period that match your role(s) and assigned location(s).

  6. Tap Request Shift.

  7. Tap Confirm to Request the shift without notes

    • Tap Add Notes to enter notes prior to requesting the shift

    • Enter any desired Notes and Tap Request Shift to request the shift

Note: If admin approval is turned on you will see the shift change to Requested status. Once an admin has had the chance to approve you will receive a push notification letting you know their decision. If the claim is accepted you will see the requested shift as an upcoming shift on your calendar.
