Overview: Requesting shifts in Teambridge is now easier than ever. This guide walks you through the updated process to request a shift using the latest version of the app.
Ensuring accurate profile setup is essential to make relevant shifts visible to you. Make sure that your role and location details are updated for better shift alignment.
How to Request a Shift
Open the Teambridge App
Log in to your account and navigate to the Schedule section from the home screen (lower navigation bar).
Access Available Shifts
Tap on the Open Shifts tab to view available shifts that you can request.
Select a Shift
Browse the list of available shifts and tap on a shift you’d like to request.
Review the shift details, including date, time, location, and any specific requirements.
Submit Your Request
Tap the Request Shift button to submit your request.
If confirmation is required from a manager, you will see a pending status.
Receive Confirmation
Once your shift is approved, you will receive a notification.
The shift will now appear under your Upcoming Shifts section.
Profile Setup Requirements and Troubleshooting
To ensure you see relevant shifts:
Update Your Profile: Keep your job roles and locations current in your Teambridge profile.
Verify with Administrators: If your profile appears incorrect or incomplete, reach out to your organization’s admin for adjustments.
Proper profile setup supports access to shifts tailored to your role and location.

Shift Notifications: Your account may have notifications setup to provide you with updates about available shifts and approvals.
Canceling a Request: If you need to withdraw a shift request, go to the Scheduled Shifts section, select the shift, and choose Cancel Request.
Viewing Past Requests: You can track past shift requests and their status under the Requested tab.
Troubleshooting Common Issues:
Can’t Find Relevant Shifts: Check that your profile is updated with the correct role and location details.
Shift Request Denied: Contact your administrator to confirm shift availability or address any other barriers.
