Request approval for any budget impacting changes, including target start date, job role, level or compensation
Details of a headcount can be adjusted after the headcount has already been approved. Based on the information that is being updated, the change may or may not require approval from the approval chain.
Updates that require approval:
Any change that impacts the budget requires approval, in other words, changes to:
Compensation
Job level
Start date
Location
Employee type
Updates can be requested at any time after approval. Make the changes to the field(s) and click the orange Request Changes button.
You’ll see the list of required approvers once submitted and will be notified once the update is fully approved.
Updates that do not require approval (as long as no other concurrent changes are being made):
Job title
Reporting manager
Priority
The department of an approved headcount is not able to be changed, with or without approval. If you need to change the headcount's department, please submit a net new request and archive the old headcount.
Note that you are also able to request changes to requests that are pending approval. If the change is budget-impacting, by submitting the change request you will send the headcount back to the beginning of the approval chain.
