If you are an approver in TeamOhana, you will have a widget on your Home page called "My Approvals." From this widget, you can manage all new requests, backfills, change requests, internal transfers, and terminations.
The different types of requests that can be approved are split into three tabs: Headcount, employee changes, and scenarios.
When a user submits a request that requires approval, you will be notified over email (and over Slack if you have the integration installed.)
From the My Approvals widget, you have two options: you can click into each headcount to review details and approve or deny the request from there, or you can expand the widget to view all of your pending approvals at once and take action in bulk if necessary.
When you click into each headcount, a drawer will open up with all of the details being requested. If you approve the request and want to send it to the next layer of the approval chain, click the green "Approve" button in the top right corner.
If you would like the original requestor to make an edit to the headcount details, you can leave them a comment (and @mention them) in the Comments section asking them to come in and update the request.
Alternatively, as an approver you also have the capability to make the edit before sending the request to the next approver. In this case, best practice is to leave a comment for the original requestor letting them know that you've made a change.
If you are going to deny the headcount, click the red X in the top right corner. A pop up with a text box asking for your justification will appear; make sure to leave a comment letting the original requestor know why you are denying the request so that they can make adjustments to the request and resubmit it.
To expand the My Approvals widget, click the arrows in the top right corner.
You will be taken to a new page where you can view all of your approvals in a table view at once. The table will contain information like the target start date and target comp of each request, as well as where in the approval flow the request is currently sitting and how long it's been there.

You can click into each headcount and approve or deny the request from there, or you can check the box to the left of each headcount to make approvals/denials in bulk.
Once a request is approved or denied, the requestor will get an email notification (and a Slack notification).
