TeamOhana has introduced the TeamOhana ID, a system-generated unique identifier for your organization's employees that they receive the first time they are claimed by the system. TeamOhana IDs are assigned to employees only, and not headcounts.

The TeamOhana ID bridges the gap between the headcount ID and the employment ID generated by your HRIS so that you're able to reconcile how headcounts evolve to become employees. It also allows an employee to be tied to multiple headcounts over time (should they receive a promotion or transfer internally.)

The format of the ID is TO-XXXX; it will start with TO-1000 and increase by increments of one as new employees are claimed. Please note that unclaiming and re-claiming an employee will not change their TeamOhana ID. Because the ID is system-generated, it is not customizable or editable.

Please note that the TeamOhana ID is currently found only in .csv exports of your Headcount Ledger and Hiring Tracker. For now it will be absent from the UI, but will be added in a future release coming soon.
