There are 5 stages of a headcount in TeamOhana: hiring not started, ready to hire, in progress, offer sent and hired. See below for an explanation of each status and the action in TeamOhana or the ATS that triggers the status update.

Hiring not started: the headcount has been approved by all parties in the approval chain and has landed on the hiring plan, but the Talent team has not started working on it yet.

Ready to hire: the "Ready to Hire" toggle has been enabled in TeamOhana, either by the hiring manager or by the Talent team. This is a manual update.

In progress: the Talent team has linked the headcount to a job and opening in the ATS. This is a manual update.

Offer sent: an offer has been extended to a candidate in the ATS against the opening and job that are connected to the headcount in TeamOhana. This is an update that occurs automatically in TeamOhana when the offer is manually sent from the ATS.

Hired: the offer that has been sent to the candidate has been accepted.
