You can view your forecast data directly inside the schedule by linking activities to forecasts. This allows you to compare your team’s scheduled activities against your forecasted inflow to ensure you have the right number of people on each channel.

Once you've linked your activities to forecast you can then switch between your “planned coverage” (the rules you defined in your activity plan) and your forecasted coverage inside the schedule.

Get started

To set this up watch the video follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the day view of the schedule

  2. Open the activities sidebar by clicking “Add activities”

  3. Select an activity you want to link to a forecast and click the edit icon to open the activity modal

  4. From here you can turn on link to a forecast, select the relevant forecasts and click save.

  5. You can now switch between viewing your planned coverage and forecasted coverage by clicking the toggle next the coverage bar.

👉 You can link a single activity to multiple forecasts. Say if you have an activity which covers multiple channels or queues. If a surfer is scheduled to work on the activity it will count towards coverage for all the selected activities.
