Connect Social Channels
1. Log in to your AMP account at https://amp.teamusa.org/auth-usopc
If you are logged in via the Opendorse Mobile App β tap your avatar photo in the upper right, tap 'Manage Profile' and log in to your account in your phone's browser.
2. Click your avatar photo and dropdown in the top navigation
3. Select 'Profile'
4. Select 'Social' from the options of About me, Social, or Deals
5. Select 'Connect' next to any social media channel
Reminder: double-check that your browser is logged in to the correct social media channel before continuing.
6. You will be routed to the selected social channel; enter your credentials and approve permissions
7. Route back to AMP to view connected channels
To connect more than one of each channel, simply select 'Add more' next to that channel's icon at the bottom of your list.
Troubleshooting Connecting Channels
Make sure your browser is logged into the desired account for each channel. To double-check, open a new tab for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn and see what account is logged in.
Please note β an individual social media channel may only be connected to one AMP user account. If you are receiving an error when trying to connect a social media channel, it could be possible that that specific social media channel is already connected to an existing AMP account.
Reconnect Social Channels
For security purposes, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter routinely require users to re-authorize third-party apps like Opendorse. Reconnect your social channels on your Account page.
1. Log in to your AMP account at https://amp.teamusa.org/auth-usopc
2. Select your avatar photo and dropdown in the top navigation
3. Select 'Profile'
4. Select 'Socialβ
5. Select βReconnect' (if you see this button)
Reminder: double-check that your browser is logged in to the correct social media channel before continuing.
6. Route to selected social channel, enter credentials and approve permissions
7. Route back to AMP to view connected channels
Troubleshooting Reconnecting Channels
Make sure the channel you are trying to reconnect matches the channel on record inside of AMP. If this is not the case, you can delete the channel that is in 'disconnected' status and instead click 'Add more' next to the channel icon to connect the correct channel.
