Entering the Deal Builder
To begin, enter the deal builder from an athlete’s profile, from the deals page, or from the button at the top of the screen.
Building a Deal
Once in the deal builder, fill out the required fields.
Name the deal.
Select a recipient. The recipient may already be selected if you entered from an athlete's profile.
Type a brief, or attach a document in the chat later. You may include a hyperlink in this box.
Click the dropdown menu to view and select activities that the athlete has opted into. You may select multiple activities within a deal.
For each activity added, do the following:
Select a date by which the athlete should fulfill each activity. Further details can be explained or negotiated in the chat. Set a placeholder date if not yet determined since this is a required field.
Enter a payment amount. The amount can be negotiated in the chat and later updated from the deals page. Athletes may have a deal minimum, which will be determined by the subtotal of the deal.
Note that the status of each item is shown here. A brand can only delete an activity if the deal is in draft or notified status. Multiple activities may occur under one deal, so use this page to see what has been completed, disputed, or accepted.
Click View more options to view several additional, optional fields:
Set a date and time for the deal offer to expire if the deal is time-sensitive. An athlete will not be able to accept a deal after it has expired.
Create campaigns for your brand to group similar deals together. Select one from the list, or type a name to start a new one.
Payments
Select a Payment method. We currently support credit card payments via the Deal Builder.
To add a credit card, go to the Payments page and select Add credit card. Please fill out the entire Add credit card form to add your credit card.
Contracts
Check this box to acknowledge any deals will be governed by these standard Terms and Conditions unless an Alternative Contract is added. Brands always have the option to create an Alternative Contract, which can be shared and signed through the chat feature.
Coming soon: we will be adding the ability to add an Alternative Contract into the Deal Builder.
Sending the Deal
Click Send deal to share with athletes, or Save draft to save for later.
Please note that brands can cancel a deal in draft/notified status, but after an athlete accepts the deal they must reach out to the AMP team to delete the deal.
