How PMI Inspections Work

  1. Set the frequency

    • In the asset’s Dates tab, choose the inspection frequency (e.g. every 6 weeks).

  2. Add PMI Inspection Events (yellow)

    • Add the inspection date to the calendar.

    • Upload the inspection document—it’s stored automatically in the asset’s Documents section.

  3. Expiry Weeks

    • Based on the inspection frequency, the system calculates upcoming expiry weeks for the year.

    • In the calendar view, hover over the 🔔 bell icon to see which assets are expiring that week.

What Happens if Inspections are Missed?

  • If a new PMI inspection is not recorded before the expiry week:

    • The asset automatically moves into VOR (Vehicle Off Road) status.

    • You must manually update the status once the inspection is done.

  • If an inspection is logged late (e.g. the following week):

    • The calendar recalculates all future expiry weeks based on this latest inspection.

Where to Manage PMI Inspections

  • From the calendar view (add/edit PMI inspections).

  • From the asset’s Dates tab (bottom section dedicated to PMI inspections).
