Explanations
The Teech Score allows you to quickly assess your current form with just a glance. It's a percentage-based calculation that reflects your recent level of play.
A score of 100% means you're playing at your usual level. A lower score indicates areas where you're performing worse, and a higher score means you're playing better than usual.
Calculation
The Teech Score first establishes your baseline form level, which is your reference level (the 100% mark). Inspired by the WHS index and federal standards, your baseline form is calculated using your best 15 rounds out of your last 20 (compared to 8 for the WHS). This helps smooth out any significant dips in performance during a round.
Your current form level is calculated using your last 3 rounds. Comparing your reference level with your current form level gives you the Teech Score.
The form level is based on:
Fairways hit in regulation
Greens hit in regulation
Number of putts
Stroke play score
