First time using “Track my ball”?
Let the interactive tutorial guide you.
It automatically starts the first time you launch the mode and walks you through each step of recording shots with “Track my ball”
You must complete this tutorial in the app before you can start entering real shots.
Adjusting Your Aim and Tee Position (optional)
When starting a shot, the app displays distance markers along with your dispersion cone.
Adjust the tee position if needed: press and slide it to move it.
Set your aim: drag the center point to adjust your direction.
Use the dispersion cone to aim at a safe landing area.
Confirm by tapping “Confirm aim and tee.”
Choose a Club
Select your club from the list, then indicate the lie you’re playing from.
The app will then show a waiting screen with two options:
Option 1: If you are on the course
Walk to your ball, then tap “I’m at my ball.”
The shot will be recorded to your current GPS position.
You can then move on to the next shot.
Option 2: If you are not on the course or in an inaccessible area
Useful if you’re in water, bushes, or if you forgot to record a shot.
Move the white point to the approximate location where your ball ended up.
Tap “Confirm position.”
Your shot will be recorded to that marked location.
Special Cases
Penalties
First record the shot you played:
Move the ending point to where the ball actually finished (e.g., in the water).
Confirm the position.
In the club list, tap “Penalty.”
Select the penalty type.
The app will automatically apply the correct logic:
Out of bounds / lost ball: automatic return to the previous shot +1 stroke.
Water hazard / drop: you’ll be prompted to choose a drop location or return to the previous position.
Putting Mode
The app automatically switches to putting mode when one of your shots lands near the green.
On the green, you don’t need to take out your phone for every putt.
Simply enter the approximate distances to the hole in the putting interface
