Products are what customers see and purchase in your store. Proper product setup improves conversions and reduces customer confusion.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Go to Products
From your dashboard, click on BI screen then click on Products.
Step 2: Click “Add Categories”
Click on the plus sign, then click on add category
Click on save category
Every product has a category to group them for example, you want to upload Tilapia fish, the category would be be Fish. same thing for all other products.
Step 3: Click “Add Product”
Now you will add product to the category earlier created.
From the dropdown,
pick the category you want to add a product to
Add product name
Add product image (optional) but its important
Step 4: Click “Add Stock”
From the dropdown, select the product you want to add stock to
You will need to provide:
Measurement
Selling Price
Cost Price
Available Quantity
Expiring Date
VAT %
Item low on stock threshold
Click Add Stock to publish.
Your product will immediately appear in your storefront.
Writing a Good Product Description
A strong description should:
Explain what the product is
Highlight key features
Mention size, color, or specifications
State what makes it valuable
Upload a very good Image
Upload clear, well-lit images.
Tips:
Use plain background
Show multiple angles
Avoid blurry photos
Managing Product Availability
If a product is out of stock, update the quantity by adding more stock to prevent overselling.
