Credits are Telescope Live’s internal currency, used to access premium features like datasets, tutorials, and Wallpapers. Depending on your subscription plan, you’ll receive a monthly credit allowance, and you can purchase additional credits as needed.

How Do I Get Credits?

  • Monthly Allowance: Credits are included with every dataset subscription plan. For example:

    • Bronze Plan: 5 credits/month

    • Silver Plan: 20 credits/month

    • Gold Plan: 50 credits/month (with a 20% discount on datasets)

  • Purchasing Additional Credits: If you run out of credits, you can easily top up by navigating to your account settings and selecting the "Buy Credits" option. Choose the desired credit pack and complete your purchase to add more credits instantly.

What Can I Use Credits For?

  • Datasets: Use credits to grab full or sample datasets for processing. Full datasets typically cost between 5 and 15 credits, while sample datasets cost just 1 credit.

  • Wallpapers: Download high-resolution Wallpapers created by other users for 1 credit each. This credit goes directly to the author of the Wallpaper as a reward for their work.

How Do I Track My Credits?

  • Credit Balance: Your remaining credits are displayed at the top right under your account name and in your account settings.

  • Credit History: View a detailed record of how your credits were used or obtained—whether through subscriptions, purchases, or earned by sharing Wallpapers—by navigating to the Credit History section in Account Settings

Can I Rollover Unused Credits?

Yes, unused credits do roll over to the next billing cycle. Your accumulated credits will remain in your account as long as your subscription is active, allowing you to save them for larger datasets or other premium content in the future.

Refund Policy for Credits

Credits are not refundable for cash under any circumstances. However, if a dataset does not meet quality expectations, you can request a credit refund under Telescope Live’s quality guarantee. This ensures you are compensated with credits to use on other datasets or content.

Do Credits Expire?

Credits remain valid as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your unused credits will expire 3 months after the cancellation date.

If you resubscribe within this 3-month period, all your previously unused credits will be reinstated, allowing you to pick up right where you left off. After 3 months, any remaining credits will be permanently lost.

This ensures users are aware of credit expiration policies and the opportunity to regain credits by resubscribing.

Tips for Managing Credits

  • Start Small: Use sample datasets (1 credit each) to get familiar with Telescope Live’s data quality before grabbing full datasets.

  • Watch for Discounts: Check the Dashboard for discounted datasets, which are updated daily with 30% savings.

  • Earn Credits: Share Wallpapers in the gallery; you’ll earn 1 credit every time another user downloads your image.

Credits give you the flexibility to explore Telescope Live at your own pace, whether you’re processing data, learning through tutorials, or building your Wallpaper collection. Start using your credits today!
